Problem Note 58104: You cannot activate a workflow template in SAS® Workflow Studio

When you attempt to activate a workflow template in SAS Workflow Studio, you might see an error similar to the following:

The template cannot be activated. Contact your administrator.

The problem might occur after you change an attribute or a key in an existing workflow template or copy a workflow template from another environment. When the problem occurs, the SAS® Workflow Services log file contains the following error:

ERROR [sasadm] com.sas.workflow.framework.impl.WorkflowServiceExceptionInterceptor - java.lang.NullPointerException at com.sas.workflow.engine.requests.Create.setLabeledEntityIds(Create.java:186)
